WHY: As executive orders declare English the national language, as immigrants are criminalized and scapegoated, as language programs at UIC and nationally are threatened, we celebrate multilingualism, translation, and linguistic experimentation as VITAL and NECESSARY. Please join us for readings, translations, experimental translations, and performances that cross languages in provocative and exciting ways.
