UIC's Center for Latinx Literature of the Americas will be hosting an end-of-the-semester gala event co-sponsored by the Institute for the Humanities. This event will highlight some of the most important Latinx writers working today, including poets Cecilia Vicuña, Roque Salas Rivera, Susan Briante, Farid Matuk, and Giancarlo Huapaya. Each writer will give a brief reading from their work and then participate in a panel discussion led by UIC faculty.
