UNDP program for Latin America and the Caribbean

“The Challenges of Peace Building in El Salvador”

This public lecture will analyze the persistence of social violence and crime in postwar societies in Central America by focusing on the challenges of peace building in El Salvador. More to the point, it will ponder the impact of recent institutional and civil society efforts to reduce violence in that country.
