DISSERTATION WRITING GROUP (KEI HOTODA)
Our second presenter will be Kei Hotoda (UIC Political Science). She will be presenting work from her dissertation, tentatively titled “Trauma, Recovery, and the Self.”
Bring your own lunch, and we will provide coffee and cookies. We will circulate electronic copies of the work at least one week before the session. Participants should come prepared to share suggestions, ask questions, and discuss writing strategies in an inviting and informal session.

Our first presenter will be Aviral Pathak (Political Science), who is currently a Resident Graduate Scholar at the Institute. He will be presenting work from his dissertation, “The Art of Governing Well–Freedom and the Practice of Government in Modern India.” The chapter from which he will select an excerpt is entitled “Governing Youth–Individual Freedom and the Discourses of Youth Development in Modern India.”
