Radical Theory and Revolutions

Organizers

Atef Said, Sociology Faculty

Maria Claudia Espinel, Law and Criminal Justice

Kasi Woods, Sociology

The Radical Theory and Revolutions working group aims at creating an interdisciplinary space for UIC faculty and students interested in connecting radical theory--particularly genealogical, critical and decolonial perspectives of political and social theory—and revolution. We hope to explore radical understandings of political and social theory, and study revolutions in history into the present.
