Digital Humanities in Practice: Project Development and Digital Pedagogy
On February 27th, 2020, the Digital Humanities Initiative, in collaboration with the University Library and the Institute for the Humanities, hosted Digital Humanities in Practice: Project Development and Digital Pedagogy, a workshop led by digital humanities experts from Michigan State University's Digital Scholarship Lab to demonstrate to participants different aspects of developing DH projects, including finding and working with data; understanding and engaging in collaborative practices; hands-on instruction with mapping and data visualization tools; and cultivating a digital pedagogy. The event was facilitated by Hannah Huber, Postdoctoral Research Associate in Digital Humanities. Thank you everyone for organizing and participating!
