SUMMARY:Playing, by Eduardo Coutinho: A Brazilian cinema session
DESCRIPTION:Eduardo Coutinhois an acclaimed Brazilian documentarian, famous for making a cinema of encounters. Coutinho was able to unfold individual realities as well as Brazilian ones through conversation. On March 20, Playing (Jogo deCena, 2007), considered by many critics as a synthesizing film of Coutinho?s works, will be screened at the UIC Institute for the Humanities. The session will be followed by a Q&amp;A session with Vitor Soster, a PhD student at the State University of Campinas (Brazil) and a visiting scholar at UIC, thanks to The São Paulo Research Foundation (Fapesp).
