This session is intended to assist UIC faculty and instructors in transitioning from the traditional classroom to the virtual. It will be led by Hannah Huber, Postdoctoral Research Associate in Digital Humanities, and Brian Atkinson, Visiting Assistant Professor and Digital Scholarship Research Coordinator.
Topics include:
- Ideas for active learning activities
- Support for teaching information and data literacy
- Utilizing and moderating discussion boards
- Facilitating online peer review workshops
- Shifting final project format from traditional to multimodal
- Assessing digital projects
