Download iCal FileRocío Silva-Santisteban served as a Member of Congress of the Republic of Peru representing the left-wing coalition Frente Amplio, and as Executive Director of the National Human Rights Coordinator. She holds a PhD in Literature from Boston University, a diploma in Gender Studies, and degrees in Law and Political Science. She works as a consultant on human rights, gender, and eco-territorial conflicts, and is a university professor. She currently serves as Director of the feminist NGO DEMUS and is a member of the Eco-social Pact of the South.
