In recognition of Transgender Day of Visibility, we are pleased to invite you to an "intellectual salon" on the topic of "Transgender Visibility" (conceived broadly). Originating in 17-th Century France, an intellectual salon is an intimate, curated gathering designed for in-depth conversation, intellectual growth, and the exchange of ideas on art, culture, politics, and science. We are hopeful that you will come and share your thoughts and ideas on the topic from your own scholarly and/or lived perspectives.

The discussion will be framed through short comments from Ash Stephens (Assistant Professor of Criminology, Law, and Justice), Billy Huff (Director of the Gender and Sexuality Center), Autumn Neuharth (Visiting Clinical Instructor in the College of Applied Health Sciences), and our special guest, TJ Billard (Executive Director of the Center for Applied Transgender Studies at Northwestern University).

Lunch will be provided.
