Anthropocene

Hybrid Event

Please join The Anthropocene Lab Working Group this week for an informal conversation about water. We will hear short presentations from Chris Anderson, Rachel Havelock, Aishath Huda, Dan Peterman, Matt Rundquist, Lauryn Spearing and Rachelle Tschor about their exciting water-related work currently underway.  Participants are encouraged to ask questions and share ideas as we explore the ways that water connects us all.

The Anthropocene Lab is a cross-disciplinary platform for faculty and students interested in engaging with questions that relate to social movements, the environment, biodiversity, ecological activism, human rights, cultural heritage, environmental justice, and public humanities. It responds to the desire of UIC faculty and students for engagement and collaboration with local communities in the global contexts of development.
